Steve Busick, MA
Steve holds a Master of Arts in Counseling and a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. His areas of interest include premarital counseling, marriage counseling and sexual addiction. He also enjoys counseling those suffering from depression, anxiety and spiritual issues. Steve often uses an inner healing prayer approach to counseling.
Mike Courter, Ph.D.
Mike received his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois and a Master of Divinity from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. Mike sees clients on a part-time basis at the Center. He is involved with the PTSD Clinic at the VA in Danville, Illinois. Mike most often works with people suffering from depression, anxiety, marital problems, childhood abuse and PTSD from sexual abuse, rape, or combat. Mike is also a veteran of the United States Air Force who served with the 75th Medical Group at Hill Air Force base from 2002-2005.
Jon Dillow, MA
After completing a BS in chemical engineering at the University of Illinois, Jon obtained his MA in Mental Health Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in Oviedo, Fl. Jon is also on staff with Great Commission Ministries, a student ministry. He leads groups at the Center for those struggling with sexual addictions, stress and anxiety, depression, relationships, self worth and spiritual fatigue in addition to seeing individual and married clients.
Tracy Grissom, MA, LCPC
Tracy sees clients at our Danville office and earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Ministry from Lincoln Christian Seminary in Lincoln, Illinois. Tracy brings her extensive experience with children and adolescents to the Center. Her previous positions in the area of Crisis Response have provided her with excellent assessment skills. Tracy also counsels adults and couples.
Julie Smith, MS
Julie completed her Master of Counseling from Eastern Illinois University, with a minor in Women’s Studies. She enjoys working with young women in the areas of self-esteem and relational issues. Julie loves praying for her clients and counseling in a Christian context.
Jim Klein, M.Ed., LCPC
Jim has been the director of the Center since 1993. He received his Master’s degree in counseling from Georgia State University and the Psychological Studies Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. Jim sees both individuals and couples for a variety of issues. He has a particular interest in the use of inner healing prayer to treat trauma.
